HP 4100N Error 55.1

I've got a HP LaserJet 4100N and it's been giving me an error 55.1 and I can't figure out what it could be.

I spoke with the technicians at HP and they said that my formatter board has gone bad. I just received my replacement formatter board today and tried it out to no avail.

Any ideas?

Problem could also be firmware dimm, memory dimm (both on formatter board) or engine controller, sometimes it may have been JetDirect card (network card, if there is one).

Thanks for the quick response. Would you know of a good place to get the firmware dimm and memory dimm? I don't think it's the JetDirect card because I've removed it from the formatter board and I still get the same error.
