Laserjet 4L problem

Hello All,

I have a laserjet 4L printer that will print half a page and then
just quit. The paper jam light comes but no other error messages
in Windows (98). The paper is not jammed. In fact the printer
pushes the paper out into the upper tray!

My bios is set for EPP and I was wondering if
this should be set for a bi-directional port. Could this be the issue
or is something else playing up?
