hewlett packard laserjet 4 plus questions

My aunt just gave me this as a gift from work and I was wondering:does it need a driver to operate on a windows PC and if so which,as in where can I find it?It came with a couple of toner cartriges and something called smart label printer which includes the software drivers for it but I dont see the driver cd's for the printer itself anywhere so I came here looking for the info. ;)
It also came with a 56 k faxmodem laserlabels etc.

1)hp.com

2)Support and Driver downloads

3)in the blank box labled "for product" type lj4+

4)enter

5)scroll down the page until u reach laserjet 4 plus

6)click on the laserjet 4plus

7)now select the operating system and it will download

The printer came out before CDs were in vogue. If you download them from hp.com they will be the newest ones(!)

Depending on your version of operating system, the drivers should be included in Windows 98 on up! Not sure about Mac stuff!
