LaserJet 2200 Error

Hello,
Your guidance will be appreciated on this problem. When I power on the printer, ( L J 2200) then press the Large button to produce the test print, I get an additional page with the following message.

Error is PCL XL error, Subsystem: KERNEL, Error: Illegal Operator Sequence, Operator: ReadFontHeader, Position: 1097

If I place the C7066-60001 Simplex logic card into another LJ2200, the same error message comes up.

Is this a case of FAULTY C7066-60001 logic card? or Is it something that can be "cleared" to correct this situation.

I have not been able to find anything on this error, thus far.

Hey Dude,

I would Suggest you try an NV-RAM Reset on the unit - if this does not work, then You would have to get the Formatter(Logic board/Interface) replaced. You could also have faulty RAM, if your not using extra RAM then your board needs to be replaced. Send it in for service.
