At our business we have quite a few computers and quite a few printers. It is begining to become a hassle to install a new printer on every single workstation when we install it. We have a domain, and we use Active Directory. Is there a way to standardize the printers? That is, by just using the server, can we make it so that all the computers have the same printers on them? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You are better served by posting this question in an Active Directory news group.

The answer is yes. You can enter the printer on the server if you are using HP printers you can use jet direct to find the printers and then add them to the Active Directory. When the users log on, they can install a printer and the driver will download to the individual's computer (printer network). The server would become the host for the printers and print queues.
