Hello all...

I want to know where to get a fuser for HP 4500, which have a defect on it and I need to replace it.

HP 4600:
When I print about 100-200 or more, the fuser starts to burn some blastic, and I can smell it. does it need adjustment or replacement? can I just replace the fuser itself or I just can buy a full fuser kit?

Thanks a lot

Sounds like the thermistor (thermal sensor) on the fuser is not working.

This will cause the fuser to overheat. Its not something that should be replaced directly, rather a new fuser is in order.

A fuser maintenance kit can be ordered from any HP reseller of Vendor.

If you are an end user, and not a printer/computer repair business, then contact one in your area and they will order the part in for you.

Thank you for your kind help :)

I have already repaired it, it was a small plastic peice between the fuser and a small blastic cover, which spreads heat to it.

It is working fine now (the HP L.J 6500)

Gigo,

You can also get maintenance kits from here....

These include the fusers.
