I have an older (2006) HP Color LaserJet 4700dn that is used by several people in my lab. It has been producing copies that have a pink hue on the entire page. It almost looks like I used a pale mottled pink paper to print on. Everything else seems fine. The black is nice and crisp and the colors are printing nicely. The magenta cartridge is showing about 1/3 of a bar, so there is still life in it. I carefully used some canned air to try to clean out the inside of the printer, but to no avail. It does seem like there is a pink cast to the transfer kit. Do I need to replace the transfer kit? Is that hard to do? Any other suggestions or ideas? Thank you!

Update your firmware then try another magenta cartridge if that doesn't work. If these all fail, you may need a high voltage power supply.

That should be a failing toner cartridge -- even though there is some life left, doesn't mean the magenta toner hasn't failed early. You can run several full calibrations if you like, but I would go ahead and install a replacement toner. We have good quality cartridges available here:

Changing the magenta cartridge fixed it! No more pink copies! Thank you Steve & biztec!!! :D

Too bad I just ordered a new transfer kit. Oh well, it was probably due to be changed anyway.
