What are these lines!

So I purchased this printer used on craigslist and when I started using it It is leaving these blue lines on the sides on the paper. I've attatched pictures so you can see what I mean. Any help would be greatly appreciated,The printer I'm using is a HP Laserjet 2605dtn, Thank you!181182

Since the lines are blue it is likely the Cyan cartridge. How much have you printed? If you print several pages of something that has a lot of blue in it that might clear it up. Maybe there is some loose toner in the cartridge from shipping the printer. Download a free copy of the Service Manual from the Internet. You can put it on a CD or a Thumb Drive and read the Images Defects chapter. I am pretty sure it is the toner cartridge but do some printing first before you buy a new cartridge. Is the Cyan cartridge an HP or a refill? Lots of strange problems with refilled cartridges on this series of printers. Please let us know what you find.
