This Flashing Attention Light Could mean alot of things this is more of a general error saying something needs to be looked at, You need to be more specific with your problem description, I am an HP service technician. I work with alot of these units, so i'll ask you a few questions so I can get a fair idea of what could be wrong.
Some of these questions maybe stupid but if you answer these questions for me a can narrow down exactly what is wrong.
Assuming the printer does its initial rotation on power on -
1. Checked toner is seated properly?
- these models have a tendency to not sit in properly as the toner is seated when the door is closed, try pushing the door in harder.
2. This model has a paper sensor, check that it is sensing paper. if the paper is in and the error is still happening - try slamming the door shut again with toner in it, really I mean slam it.
3. If it goes to green, you need to get this serviced - the right side plate assembly made need to be replaced. (with this model the toner hits the contacts on the right side when the door is closed, after a long time these contacts get jolted about, causing the unit to flag an error)
4. after trying all this, the toner and paper is in, the posse drive on the unit has popped out of place and needs to be put backin place.
right now I could list a whole lot more, but more details of the problem needs to be givin for me to help you further.
