LaserJet 2200D (Help with odd paperjams)

I have a laserjet 2200D that prints fine, but when it prints, you see the paper come out halfway and then go back in the printer. It jams when it does this. The only way to get the paper out cleanly is to open the rear (straight through) opening. I have turned the duplex option on and off with no help. Is there a way to set the printer so that it lets the paper out instead of having to let the paper come out the back? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Replace the exit rollers at top of the printer, that will repair the problem.
