We recently had two of these come back. The LED backlight would come on but no data display at all. The printer came up and the buttons on the controls seemed to work fine. I took the first one apart and reseated the ribbon cable going to the LED and then this one started working. I pulled one from a Hangar Queen (waiting for parts) and it did not work well either. By swaping parts between the second units control panel and the spare unit I got one partially working. The memory count ****** display did not come up but the rest of the boot-up process was OK. The issue was I could not get it to do a Cold Reset so I will have to wait for a part to come in. I just wondered if anyone out there is having similar issues. The assembly seems to be well made, a PC Board with one chip, some switches and three LED's, and a socket for the LCD screen. We tried swapping the formatter and that did not change anything.
