HP Laser Jet 2605dn with intermittent faded image

I have 2 of these machines doing the same thing; Most pages come out fine, but occasionally a print will come out with all (or sometimes only one) color faded, like a loss of drum ground or poor transfer has occurred. If I re-boot the printer all goes back to normal for a while, the problem is fairly random and I am not very familiar with this particular printer. Any help would be welcome.

A good bath in compressed gas or compressed air can sometimes clear up a problem like this. Check the metal contacts on the toner cartridges and the image belt (if it has one, I'm not familiar with this model). Best to leave the printer plugged in but not turned on when you do this so any static charges from the gas/air will be dissapated. Hope this helps.
