I have recently inhereted an epson stylus c60. I am having trouble with it taking in the paper. I finally got it to take a sheet.........and now it goes through it's finding home position thing and when it does it acts like it has hit a stop of some kind on the right side. It goes real slow left then right and stops short of being hidden and then starts making an awful bound up noise. Any ideas anyone??? Tim

It probably has a fault with the purge unit and should also be cleaned and lubricated. You need to dismantle the machine to get the purge unit out. If the heads have sat uncapped for a while, then the nozzles are going to be clogged with dried ink and will need flushing. You may also have to replaced the ink cartridges. Or you could buy a new printer.

I'd buy a new printer. :)
