I just wanted to post my results with a new Samsung ml-1740 personal laser printer. This is a low cost printer, i paid $125 + shipping for it and got a $50 rebate. My total cost was about $90.

This is a 600 dpi laser, 17ppm with a standard 8 megs of memory and a 250 input tray (letter only). The Manual tray will take legal. Monthly duty cycle is 17,000 pages, if memory serves me correctly. I have been able to successfully print labels, envelopes and 16 weight 3 x 4 flyers with it.

Currently its running on a zonet print server and I'm having great results with the combo.

Time will tell how long it will last, but so far it easily surpassing the previous HP inkjets I've used and is quite a speedy printer. I would easily recommend it to anyone looking for a personal or small office laser. Print quality is excellent and its always fast.
