Can the count be reset to get ride of this message like the 4100's? If so what is the steps?

Navigate through the control panel and turn it off.

Power off the printer. Press and hold the “Select” key (the green check mark) while powering ON the printer, until all three lights flash once and then remain on. This might take about 10 seconds. Then release the key. At this point, the display should read “Select Language.” Use the ‘up arrow’ key to scroll to “New Maintenance Kit” and press the Select key. The printer will perform the reset and then go into its normal power on initialization and warm-up. Be patient. This will get you going in the short term, but you might wan to think about getting a maintenance kit
