Getting 54.2 errors and I have found there is excessive drag or friction when turning Carousel ( empty of cartridges) by hand. Another printer turns quite freely in comparison.

I believe it is due to the Carousel Drive Assy (CDA). Perhaps a faulty Motor or too much meshing friction of the gear with that of the Carousel.

Question 1- Is there an adjustment for the CDA? This would be to meshe the gears correctly?

Question 2- I want to remove the CDA to inspect the motor and then substitute another. Is there a pulication available online that I can refer to this procedure?

Question 3- Do you have such experience, that I might speek with you or receive your guidence such that I can resolve this breakdown urgently?

Thanks for any offers!

Resolution of the problem.
This fault turned out to be a build of Toner on the gear assembly that drives the Carousel. It had "baked on" texture look and feel, and was starting to stall the gear train. Stripping and cleaning did the trick.
