blk and yellow printhead problem. replace with new printhead still show problem with blk/yellow printhead. should the carriage ***'y be replace.

Sometimes it is the contacts on the ribbon cable that bring the signals to the print cartridge. Clean them with alcohol until you do not get any more ink on your swab, then use a clean, soft pencil eraser to clean them, followed by alcohol again. Do the same to the contacts on your new ink cartridges. They may be contaminated by something left on the ribbon cables by the previous cartridge. Are tje replacement cartridges refills?
