Print quality is very light, change print quality settings to print dark, changed toner and fuser. Still no improvement.
Any suggestions in very much appreciated.

Do you get light print with configuration pages as well? Any error codes on the printer? Any repeated patterns or print defects on the page? Are you using refilled toner or new?

Could be dirty optics or a problem with the transfer roller.

Configuration page is light too and error codes are for a few paper jams. No print defects besides uniform light print quality. New HP toner.

Dismantle and clean the laser assembly. It's probably dusty.
