First page prints OK, but the second page stucks in fuser. Changed P/U roller and separation pad, updated newest firmware, but problem repeats. Any help will be appreciated.

If you print just a single page document, do you still get a second page jamming in the fuser or does one page print out just fine?

If you still get a second page it is probably the pickup solenoid sticking open allowing the pickup roller to keep turning and feeding a second page that the printer is not expecting.

Single page in most cases prints OK and there's no second page in paper path. Sometimes jam occurs at first page at the exact position as the jam at second page. I made picture of jam position (rear door view).

Can you print out an event log and tell us the jam codes and also what it says to the right of the jam code? Total page count might also.

As it turns out those codes aren't very helpful. The 13.000 just means jam in tray 1 area. The manual isn't very helpful on that one. Is there an image on the page that is part way out of the fuser or is it blank?

Printed images are OK, there's no blank pages. Meantime, I installed fuser from CM1312 (it's the same spare part), but problem not solved.

I think I'm about stumped. Have you tried printing the job from the manual feed instead of tray 2?

I think on that model there's just a little slot for bypass feeding, no actual tray, so the printer ends up using the same pickup assembly for the main cassette tray and the bypass slot. You can still try sending a multiple-page job from the little bypass slot, just to make sure there is nothing wrong with the tray itself, but the actual paper pickup should be the same.

From everything you've tested --> I think the most likely cause for this jam problem would be the paper pickup assembly feeding a second sheet into the paper path a bit too early.

Assuming that's the case: the first sheet (the one stuck in the fuser) would have print on it, but the leading edge of that second sheet would be sitting just under or slightly passing the toner cartridge, in a spot where it normally should have some toner starting to print, but in this case the second sheet will be blank or have the print starting too late on the page, shifted too low.

Since the first sheet does not appear to be crumpling up, there's nothing physically obstructing the path, it's a sensor/timing issue. Also, you said single pages seem to print fine and this jam is only on multiple page print jobs, which is also forcing a timing issue.

1. I would double-check all paper-size settings in the main paper tray, from your printout they appear to be set to letter size which I'm assuming is correct length.
2. I would try printing a multiple-page print job using a test print directly from the printer menu itself rather than sending a job from the computer. (This will eliminate the very unlikely off-chance that the driver is the culprit, and is confusing the printer by sending wrong page sizes to the printer).
3. If paper size settings are correct, and it still jams from the cassette tray using internal print jobs, I think you'll need to disassemble down to the paper pickup assembly and check the solenoid that activates the paper pickup roller, see if it is sticking, and/or if one of the gears that drives the paper pickup roller is not quite aligned/timed right in the paper pickup gearing.

Manual feed has the same problem: some pages print OK, some pages stuck.
So far, I tried:
- changed pickup roller and separation pad
- replaced fuser and transfer roller
- replaced toner tray, including toners.
- replaced ITB belt
- updated to newest firmware
- checked paper path
- default settings, NVRAM reset, cleaning mode ...
... but nothing solved the problem...
