HP 4580 all in one, some lines print only half a line

My printer suddenly is acting up. While printing a page some lines randomly print only half the height of the characters. I tried realignment but didn't help. Any suggestions? Not a new cartridge but not very old either. All other printing nice and dark.

Some suggestions: remove the ink cartridge and clean the printhead (brass strip with holes), I usually hold it over a trash can or sink and
spray it with some water based detergent like 409 or Fantastic or Krud Kutter (my favorite), then wipe off the brass with a soft cloth.
Then check the contacts on the print head and the ribbon cable in the printer that mates with the cartridge. If there is any ink on
these clean with alcohol. Try another cartridge or test this cartridge in another printer if you can. Try a self test page from the unit.
If that works well consistently then maybe you have a driver problem in the printer or something wrong with the software that
is composing the page.
