the printer show 50.1 error fusing unit. I have been test the fusing unit on other 8150 printer and it work... I look around on the web and the only thing i can found about the error 50.1 is to replace the fusing unit. If it not the fusing unit what else should i look to repair the printer

Try and plug the printer into another power point..Also check that the connectors [where the fuser goes in are ok and have no paper jammed in them]
. If that doesn't work it could be a power supply.....
Let me know how you go.

test on other power point.
there is no paper jam.
still not work
as you said it could be the low voltage power supply do you know where i can find ebook or a step by step to replace it

Hi
Take the fuser out..if you look where the fuser connects into the printer.
[male plug from fuser,into female plug on the printer] sometimes little bits of paper can get stuck in the connectors...
You should try this before you replace the power supply [much easyer]
I will have a look for instructions to take out power supply

This is very common. If the fuser tests good in another printer then 99% of the time its the low voltage power supply on the 8100 or 8150. Replacing it is not that big of a deal.

Thank fo help it work no more problem with the 50,1 fusing error by replacing the low volatage power supply
but now something happen when i print i alway have a string of pale character in the same area of my sheet I try a brand new tonner cartdrige but the problem remain. Doe's it have a link with the LVPS replacement
