I am working for a big company with a wide network and several network printers in a slow network at branch offices.
The problem is: if someone is printing a 20MB file, this has to be sent to the next printserver which takes long. Then the server has to send it back to the network printer which takes long again.
Instead to serve at slow network branch offices an extra printserver, would it be recommended to "print directly to the printer" (setting found at printer queue)?
Thanks for your opinions / expiriences
