I'm getting an error message on my HP Color LaserJet CP4525 which says "Mem Test Failure Replace FMTR". Can you help me with this?

It is telling you to replace the formatter. The formatter takes the data from the computer and makes a dot map that will make the printed page look like it is supposed
to look. The printer prints dots, not characters or pictures.
On the formatter is a memory DIMM. Turn the printer off and reseat this DIMM three times then try it again. The DIMM may be bad and the only way to test it is in another
4525 printer or one that uses the same DIMM. If you buy a formatter you have the choice of a new one or a refurbed one. Refurbed (could be used and tested or repaired and tested) must be one from the exact same model number you have.
Is the printer under warranty? If so do not open it, just call HP.
