I have just purchased this MFP and need some help with some parts of the setup.
All seemed to install ok (USB) other than one eror message which seemed to come from Windows 7 Rather than the actual install program which stated something to the effect that PCL failed to install.
I have installed all the other software on the CD and all went OK other than "Install TWAIN" failed. The options within this only seemed to relate to a network installation rather than USB.
I have successfully printed to the machine.
I now want to get to grips with scanning. In particular scanning multiple pages to a multi page pdf file. I assume the way to do this is using the "Actkey" software. When I start this up there are 4 options "Application 1" "Application 2" "Folder" "PC Fax".
I select "Folder" but then get a message "Please check that the device is set to remote PC mode" and can't get any further.
With the information I have provided of my journey so far with this MFP can anyone kindly help. I'm not sure if either of the two problems I had during install are relevant or not but most importantly I want to be able to scan.
