I have a 1988 dated laserjet II that is based on the SX engine. It is fully working with only 12k page count. My question is the fact that it does a terrible job at graphics, and takes a speedy 3 minutes + to render a full page 8x10 photo, what uses does this thing have in todays printing environment?

It can't even render a simple sales invoice in less than a full minute before paper feed is started.

Works absolutly perfect, just very outdated I guess.

For sure, you can already use an upgrade. If you intend to print graphics you have to purchase an inkjet printer. You may want to keep your old laserjet but definitely, you cannot ignore the perks that come with the latest printers.

I have a newer HP color laserjet. I just hate to pitch a perfectly good printer just because its slow.
