LJ2200 Attention Light Flashing

I have cleaned all sensors. Checked all harnesses. Cant find paper anywhere. Has anyone experienced this problem.

These printers are notorously difficult to troubleshoot. If you have access to a sister machine you can swap the fuser, formatter, and the NIC if it has one. There is a paper present flag above the paper tray and another one on the fuser. If all else fails then the problem is likely in the main board under the printer engine. If this is the case then the printer is beyond economical repair. Replacement printers are less expensive than the cost and labor of replacing the main board. The 2200 also has a laser scanner issue but this will not surface until you have passed POST and try to print something. You can download a service manual from the Internet and there is some blinking lights troubleshooting you can do. We have a lot of these and they generally work well but when they need a main board they promptly become parts machines.
