View Full Version : HP J6450 not printing or copying correctly.

My AIO HP officejet J6450 just started having problems right after the warranty expired. It scans fine but it will not print or copy correctly. When you send something to the printer it starts the process then stops and will print one line every few minutes and takes at least 10 - 20 minutes to print if it even does. If you copy it does the same thing but comes out blank even if you make a copy not connected to the computer. I have reinstalled the software and no change. I think it has something to do with the printer memory. Please help if possible.

This machine is no longer available as far as I can tell. No internal parts seem to be available either. Since you have nothing to lose you could try taking it appart and reseating everything you can find. It sounds like a motherboard issue. These machines are disposable, doubt you could find anyone to fix it unless you had a working unit to swap parts with. The working scanner tells me the power supply circuitry is probably OK.
