HP Laserjet 6mp - Red Light - No Print

I cannot find help anywhere for this problem. My red light is permanently lit and whenever I send a document to the printer, the error code in the print que tells me that I am out of paper. This printer was working fine until a couple of days ago when I removed the toner cartridge to clean the rollers. Is it possible that I spilled toner somewhere...like the paper sensor. Please please help. Thank you.

Press both buttons on the printer, this will give you a secondary error code, and will tell us more about the fault.
