I just completed the maintenance on my HP 4050 with your kit. Everything went very smoothly, thanks to your excellent instructions, except for during the last step of replacing the feed roller in the bottom half of the printer. As I reached in to remove the old roller, my finger hit something inside there and a half-inch spring attached to a small white plastic connector in the shape of a 6 came loose and fell down. I have looked and looked and cannot figure out where on earth it came from. The printer works and doesn't make any noise -- yet. Any idea what I did?

Were you replacing the ransfer rooler (a wide black roller with a metal rod inside)?
Was it on the right side?
On that side there is a piece of white plastic, it's one of the guides that the roller is seated in, but I think it would have an effect on the quality of the printing.

The spring is part # RS5-2632 & the Spring Collar (the small white plastic part shaped like a "6") is part # RB1-2190. They are located on the left side of the Paper Pick-up Roller Assembly - part # RF5-2484.
