My dad bought this printer refurbished from CompUsa. I called HP and CompUsa. HP told me to call CompUsa and CompUsa told me to call HP....
My dad set up the printer without his glasses the ribbon ... now it says it cannot detect the ink head ...or something along those lines.
My questions are
1. Can this be fixed?
3. Will it be expensive?
I already know that HP doesnt release this specific item to the "general public" and i plan on taking it to Staples who is authorized to get the part
I just would like to know how costly of a repair i might be getting myself into
It would be a shame if we had to chuck a brand new printer because of a single ribbon....
