hp 8100 issue

I have a 8100 laser jet, but it is sending 2 blank pages between prints

Any idea?

Do you also get extra blank pages when you print test pages directly from the printer's menu (i.e. print a menu map or configuration page).

If blank pages follow these internal tests, then the problem is probably a sticking solenoid on pickup assembly.
