Hi Everyone, I have some tip to give out for those for which installing the swing plate assembly on the LaserJet 4200, 4300, 4250 and 4350 series printers.
I have found that there is a relationship between the toner arm and the swing plate and improper installation of a swing plate assembly can cause a jam of the toner arm from the toner door.
A correct alignment that the swing plate assembly has to move with the. arm, there is a slit inside the drive of the toner arm assembly where the arm sits on.
If you installed a swing plate assembly and it jams the toner door arm, first remove the swing plate assembly, place the arm inside the printer and move the arm up n down to make sure its aligned with each other, if the swing plate and toner arm is not jammed that means the alignment is correct.
So a improper alignment of a swing plate assembly can cause the toner door to jam up.
