HP LJ CM2320n giving paper jam warning when paper hasn't been picked up.

When I try to print/copy with the printer it starts up like it's going to work I can hear rollers spinning, but I get a clear paper jam message and the paper isn't even being picked up in the first place. This is happening when I use tray 1 or tray 2.

Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Check the P/U roller shaft, may be broken. The flag may be out of position. Does it turn at all?
Change the tray 2 sep pad, and the P/U roller.
