 I'm working on an HP 4100. The user cleared a paper jam by removing the toner cartridge and pulling the paper through the cover area. After clearing the jam and installing the cartridge, the display shows "INSTALL TONER CARTRIDGE". I've made sure the paper path is clear and replaced the cartridge. I think the memory antenna is failing. Other than replacing it, is there anyway to diagnose it? The event log is below.

00 13.20 00 0034196
01 13.20 00 0034196
02 50.03.00 0034196
03 13.6 00 0034196
04 13.20 00 0033580

Thanks

'No Toner Cartridge' doesn't give an error log entry, so reading that won't help. I have to assume that you installed a new cartridge. It sounds as if one of the cartridge interlocks is broken or askew. Also make sure that the top cover is completely shut.
