Hi, anyone know of a way to bypass the fuser or turn it off in an HP printer? I'm assuming if I remove it the printer will not work at all. I want to be able to print black in ink on a piece of paper and then be able to rub it off on wet clay to transfer the image. (The iron oxide in the black ink will fire onto the clay) Thank you anyone who can offer any help.

The printer will not go ready until the fuser is present and there are no thermostat issues.
You could get some toner powder from a bad fuser and brush it on a piece of paper with
a wide, soft bristle brush maybe? You could print a black page then stop the printer
before it gets to the fuser but you would not get a whole page of black.
