LaserJet 5 Display Panel blank

I've replaced the fuser assembly in a LJ 5 and the Display is blank. I
re-installed the bad fuser, but the display is still blank.

Does anyone have any ideas, or is the display faulty?

Do the control buttons work? if not the cable is loose.
The display does get dirty, so bad that you hardly see anything, it can be cleaned if you take the cover off and remove the display panel.

does the printer power up, if so connectors needs to be reseated on the DC contoller PCA or the power supply needs replacement and then DC Controller and then forrmatter PCA

Can you hear the normal operation printer noises?


Try doing a engine test to make sure its not power issue?

it could be a lose connector from the formatter and needs to be reseated.
