Laserjet 4mv won't recognize computer

The computers that were networked to my Laser Jet (which I love and have had for over 10 years — it is the 11x17 format that I need) died and now although I have a replacement ibook with Tiger (which still had appletalk) the printer won't see the computer. Is there a way to take it off the network, bring the settings back to whatever it left the factory with so that it will recognize this ibook G4. The ibook has the printer descriptions. I can't seem to find the driver online to begin at that point.

So: Driver for laserjet 4mv to be used by ibook (os 10.4)
get printer to stop looking for long dead computers that it was networked to.
