To start off, I make commercial real estate marketing packages for a brokerage, so we need high quality maps and photos. I inherited the tech responsibilities by default because I'm the "young guy". I apologize if I'm not using the right terms, but hopefully somebody can help me despite this.
Our office's networked OfficeJet L7780 All-In-One is crapping out on high quality image printing. It's never been a great printer, but now it seems that it's rapidly declining. The quality of printing (dpi) is still sufficient for our needs, but I don't think the cache (if that's the right word) is large enough to print 20-30 photo quality pages. Often times it will print a page, but exclude large chunks of a photo or map. I tried to attach a scanned example, but can't get the file small enough for the forum cap.
We got the printer in 2007 and I think it's lived a good enough life. We have the scanner function taken care of, but still use the all-in-one for copying and faxes. Any suggestions on a replacement? I've heard Brother is a good brand. Price range would be capped at about $350. It would need network capabilities, but not necessarily wifi.
Thank you for reading.
