Printer is showing PROCESSING JOB and hangs. Powered off and on then goes back to the same display. Replaced the Driver with the UNIVERSAL one. still it will not print. Tried to update the Firmware but it will not accept it, even though the updates is pushed to the machine, there is no indication on the machine it is being updated. Printed a test page, and it shows the same old info. no updated was applied.

Can you give us a little more information? Did this printer ever work on this operating system? How is it hooked to the computer? There are known issues with the Universal driver and there may be issues with the software you are using. Try the HP Support and Drivers, go to Support and enter your printer name or Model number (eg: QnnnnA). You can also ask for Chat help from the HP people. First impression is that your formatter has died or the memory stick (if it has one) has come unseated or died.
Have you done a Cold Reset? If you have an HP JetDirect NIC handy try disabling the embeded RJ-45 Ethernet port and installing a NIC. Have you tried to print to this printer from another computer or through a different path such as a USB port? Will the printer do a test print from the panel? Have you downloaded the service manual?
Please let us know what you find.

I would reboot and do a Cold Reset ... (keep in mind that a Cold Reset can reset your network settings).
If that doesn't help I would do as BigAl suggests: turn off the embedded network server and try connecting via installing a network card in the EIO slot.

What kind of test page did you print?
How did you print it with the message on the console?
