HP Color 2605

I have a customer that is has an HP Color 2605n, and this is his exact quote:

HP LASER JET 2605, INSTEAD OF PRINTING PDF, IT IS PRINTING RED TEXT.. AND THE GRAY SCALES ARE RED...

Any ideas??

Recommend:

trying a couple calibrations in a row...
clear all print jobs from the queue & reinstall the driver, or at least make sure he is printing from the correct driver ...
See if the red cartridge is perhaps leaking and he is misdescribing the problem...

I remembered seeing something like this happen before, but it was on a copy machine. When attempting to print a PDF, when the print screen comes up, you will see on the bottom left of the page the "Advanced" button. Go inside and check the "Print As Image" box. Worked like a charm. As I said earlier, we also have copy machines here and were having some issues about 3 years ago with documents fonts and colors changing. We we then told by IT to select that option whenever wer print PDF files, and havent had those issues again since we have been doing that. Well, it works with printers too. Thanks for the reply Steve.
