I work for an IT firm. We have a client company , and one of their users is experincing something I havent seen before. She has to keep pressing the button to keep it printing and screen states DRUM LIFE ENDS SOON. She just had a new Drum installed . Any ideas?

When you replace the drum unit with a new one, you need to reset the drum counter by completing the following steps:

1. Press the + or - button to choose "Machine Info".
2. Press OK to proceed to the next menu level, and then press the + or - button to choose "Reset Parts Life".
3. Press OK, and then press the + button to choose "Drum Unit".
4. Press OK two times.
