Hi everyone,

I am having a bubble print issue on an LJ4300 printer. I have tried 2 HP brand cartridges, I have switched out the HVPS once and still receive the bubble print (grapes of wrath). Does anyone know how to test to make sure the grounding contacts are connecting with the HVPS?

Thanks,
Chris

Did you do a halfway test to rule out the fuser?

I've had this on only one 4300, new fusers, toners, HV/PS, Dc,Cont, etc. Sent to HP, returned as "OK". Not! They refused to supply proof even on the second time sending it in to them. Junked it. Sorry.

Yep. Also did an engine test with the formatter out, to rule out the formatter. Put in new DC controller. Tried 2 different HP brand cartridges and both give the grapes of wrath.

If my memory serves, which it sometimes does not, I had this and it turned out to be the laser scanner assy. It is easy to change if you have one you can swap.
