Cartridge Error

I acquired an HP 5610xi ALL-IN-ONE that had been in storage for some time and was working when placed in storage I manually cleaned the cartridges including the contacts but after installing the drivers in my Win 7 system I get the message on the printer display: CARTRIDGE ERROR I have installed new factory carts. What can I do to correct this problem?

What happens if you put the cartridges that you cleaned back into the printer?
