HP8500 cartridge replacement?

Hi, does anyone have an HP Officejet Pro 8500?
How often do you have to replace cartridges? Also, if you are only printing black and white copies, do you need to replace the color ink cartridge as well?

Impossible question.
How much do you print? How much text or images are you laying down on the paper? Are you printing one line of text per page or are you printing copies of ObamaCare? Only you can answer the question by seeing how long it takes to empty a cartridge.
If you read the specs and believe them - black lasts up to 1000 pages and each of the colors last 900 pages.
