Hello,

For couple of months, my printer has just stopped working. It worked fine, and one day i just got the "USB Device Not Recognised" message when i turn it on.
*I have tried to remove and re-install the printer, even with a newer driver from the website.
*I have tried to set the usb ports not to power off, ever.
*I have tried removing every unneeded hidden device in device manager.
*I have tried a different cable.
*Unplugging both the printer and/or the computer and re-connecting after a few minutes.

Nothing seems to work. At one point it was staining my paper, so i took out the ?photoconductor? (cylinder thing in the back) and wiped it with a soft paper tissue and it was fine. After that i would sometimes get half pages when i print. On the diagnostic page it printed at one time, the thing was supposed to be around 85% fine (it had a filled out bar).

NOWADAYS, when I don't get the "USB Device Not Recognised" message (sometimes i just don't), when I try to print something all it does is print 1 row of "copyright 1999, driver version, and jibberish". Even if i only wanted 1 page, it keeps going until i stop it.

When i get the dev. not recognised, when i check the printer properties, it says no manufacturer and something else ... it's just blank.

Donno what to do anymore!

Here are pictures of all I can show you!
