Howdy all, hope someones here right now. Have this unit printing very faint for the top half, and the bottom is printed fine.Toners just under 30%, K is new. Swapping each c m y to the k slot gives that color at the bottom, but still faint on top. New ETB, DC cont., toner sensor PCB, H/V.
The MDA is aligned, as are the toner cams. Component tests all operate normally, sensor test shows a 1 for the black enstrangement sensor. Cleaned scanner, and all contacts. any ideas? Thanx

You've already done alot.

How about a full calibration, NVRAM reset, and/or formatter.

maybe High Voltage Power Supply? I'm seeing part# RM1-2758 in the Service Manual ; which comes up as HVPS for 3600/3800 ... I don't know if it's the same board for 3000 or not.

Yeah, switched the H/V also. Turns out the MDA's small white gears were off. {the ones on the back of it} Toner issue that the user wont address, so he gets it back the way it is. Prints great black on whole page now. Thanx, Michael
