Blank spot on the page printed

Hi guys,

What are the possible causes of this problem? I'm too scared to clean the guts. lol

The blank patch is about a square inch, somewhat rectangular in shape. Sometimes it's prominently blank and sometimes it's just "lighter" or somewhat "blurry" than the rest of the page.

Are you too scared to tell us the make and model of this mysterious printer?

This is most likely a hardware problem because it isn't as likely that a misconfiguration or software malfunction is causing this. If you don't want to check out the insides of your printer yourself, you should try to get a professional to try a hand at repairing it.

could this be a toner cartridge issue.. were you able to pull out the seal when you replaced it? did you use a re-manufactured cartridge?
