I continue to get an error message "Printhead problem" The following printhead has a problem: black/yellow[k/y].

I have followed the instructions and replaced the printed but the error message continues to appear. Does anyone know how to resolve this error code.

I have not worked on this printer but we do a lot of InkJet servicing here. The only things I can suggest is to clean the ribbon cable that mates with the head well with alcohol. Then take a clean, soft pencil erasser and clean the ribbon cable contact points, then clean it with alcohol again. Do the same for the print head. The signals going to the print head are radio frequency pulses and are low in amplitude. If this does not help then you may have a bad ribbon cable or an electronic problem on the logic board.

We have had some success resoldering the processor chip on the logic board. If you want to try it send me an Email and I will send you the proceedure. Works for NIC cards too. Is this unit still under warranty?
