HP Laser jet 3035XS MFP

We have a 3035 MFP that is giving a 55.04.92 (DC Controller Error). I found a part number to order the PCB but don't have a manual to show us where it's located in the machine. Anyone out there have any experience with this particular model or can describe where this board hides ? Thanks..Murphy

My manual says to try the ECU and then the HVPS.

Just what part number did you find for the "DC Controller"?
I don't think that you have the p.n. for that part.

Thanks for the response RedCow. The part No. I came up with was RM1-3774-020. I don't have access to a service manual for this machine, so any help is appreciated. Your manual says maybe the ECU or HVPS ? Can you send along part no.'s for those, too. What's appearing on the screen is "55.04.92 DC Controller".. Thanks Murphy

In this case the "ECU" is the same as the DC controller... your part# was correct.

We do stock these at PrinterTechs.

Power supply is RM1-3758-000CN
ECU is the large board on the right side of the printer

Today, we replaced that ECU PCB and that fixed the problem ! Sure a lot of work to replace that board, though. We were glad to see it finally print without any error codes popping up.. Thanks everyone for all the advice. Murphy
