Our home site www.printertechs.com should describe the maintenance kits & common parts for most of the HP LaserJets .

You will find a lot of info under the Tech Support section.
There is a Main Support Page there which links to all the common defects and describes which parts usually cause those problems. If you run into something unusual, this forum can help with oddball questions.

Most of the HP printer handbooks can be downloaded, either from HP or by going to Google. Most are pretty well written and have good explanations of how things work. If you do not understand something then ask, do not be bashful, we all had to learn somehow, and there is good help here.

HP used to give classes on their current printers. The last one I attended was in New Jersy about 5 years ago. If you find any info I would be interested.

The only place I know of that is still doing HP Laserjet training is xtranet.com and they do classes in Troy Michigan (suburb of Detroit) and somewhere in Canada. They do a "Bootcamp" that lasts several days and they have you tear down and reassemble several current models. This training is not cheap! I went up there for training on Wide Carriage InkJets and the class was good. No theory to speak of, just tear it apart and put it back together and get it working.
